The B of C produces all kinds of notes (tests, proofs, experiments, patterns, illustrations, etc.), that never see circulation. I have some educational material that has Journey 100's with the serial #JPH2912607.
On RARE occasions (true to the dictionaries definition; NOT ebay standards), one of these notes will get out into circulation. For example: the JHS Journey 5. This is truely a one-of-a-kind and was NEVER intended to leave the confines of the Bank of Canada. I would even debate the "legal tender" status of this note. AND ANOTHER THING
the serial number is IDENTICAL to the 100 I mentioned above.
How's that for throwing gasoline on the fire.
