Fold over serial number Error

News: Welcome to the Canadian Paper Money Forum.

I got this note about a year ago from a dealer I was told it was UNC other then the folds from the error but I would think AU I think note was pulled from a brick I don't know for sure.  Any thoughts? The serial number on the front is AYZ3721642 and on the back is 642 are the last 3 digits and the 4th digit does not look like a 1 but don't know for sure

Gorgeous note! I would consider it an UNC note if there were no flicks, creases or ripples on note besides the fold which originally caused the error. I'm not much of an error collector but if I was then that would be a must have note for my collection.

I've made a folding test on a note just to see how the numbers fit:  I found that the number printed on the front belongs to another note (that one just above that oneon the sheet), so I don't think that the 4th digit partially seen is a "1".  Can you post an enlarged scan of the partial serial number?  Maybe we can find which number it is...

And there is another note having the rest of the serial AZY3721642 which is somewhere in circulation,  whose the serial number at left is missing and a part of the number at right  (and maybe completely) missing too.

We can say that this note was on the lower right part of the sheet and a part of the error was trimmed out from the borders of the sheet...

I had reported a partially missing number on a 10$ note last year, for the same reason, but it wasn't so dramatic...

Wow $600, that is a lot to spend for an error, personally I can only spend that much on rare notes .
