Just found these.  They look crispy (took a bite to check) j.k.  The Pepsi machine at work wouldn't take them no matter how much I crumpled them up (j.k. again)

Anyway what can you tell me about these (value and or collectability.

$1000

They're worth no more than face value.

Depends upon condition.  There may be a bit more interest in the Bouey Rasminsky (96,000 printed) vs the Lawson Bouey (1,731,400 printed).

I thought someone would mention that.  I could find any sellers or mention for that matter for the Bouey Rasminsky $1000 1954. Can anyone confirm that it's worth looking into?

The latest edition of Charlton's values these notes as follows for the grades F, VF, EF, AU and UNC:

Bouey-Rasminsky 1050, 1100, 1200, 1400, 2300

Lawson-Bouey 1050, 1075, 1150, 1250, 1650

I'd say JB is right - if I had either of these notes in less than AU I'd spend them.  Even in AU or UNC I wouldn't sell them on eBay because with the sellers' fees I'd probably just get back the face value, or maybe even lose money.

Bouey-Rasminsky is slightly scarcer than Lawson-Bouey. But there is not really much demands for neither of these signatures so that is probably why you never see them available. For 1954 1,000's i think People are looking mostly for the devils face issue and/or the thiessen-crow issue which is the rarest.

How much is a 1954 $1000 note worth? Almost in perfect condition?

Signature's

Left - R.W. Lawson
Right- G.K. Bouey

Thanks
