Well, these were not mine but to up-date the community
VNS Show-Auction by C&P Numismatic prices include fees and taxes(these are estimates but are fairly close,as location of buyer can affect final value)

1954 Devils Face Specimen $1000 Unc-$12,513.00--- Charlton 19th book value $5000.00

1954 $1.00 Beattie/Rasminsky *NY Unc-$1741.00 ----Charlton 19th book value $1200.00

1935 French     $50.00                   EF-$11,500.00---- Charlton 19th book value  $9000.00

1937 $1.00 Narrow Panel J/A          Unc-$5250.00 ---  Charlton 19th book value  $2200.00

1937 $2.00 Osbourne/Towers         Unc- $2193.00-- -  Charlton 19th book value $$1150.00
(please note my scribbling on this one is not precise-15% may be added twice-not sure)

1937 Osbourne/Towers $100.00      Unc-$6579.00 ---  Charlton 19th book value $4250.00

1973 $1.00 Lawson/Bouey 01 Low # Unc-$1677.00--- Charlton 19th book value $1100.00
(This is the only note from the above that I personally won)

Forgot a couple that I paid attention too:

BC21d 1937 $1.00 CCGS63 2 Notes  Unc--$225.00     Charlton 19th book value $140.00 (2 notes)
BC21d 1937  $1.00 CCGS63 2 Notes UNC--$225.00    Charlton 19th book value  $140,00 (2 notes)

I noted Chartered note prices seemed weak, and not a lot of bidding. That is my perception but I didn't follow that part of the auction extensively

Recently purchased a very nice 1913 Royal Bank $20 in VF+. The note was auctioned on ebay in Mid March and I got it for $2050. I am very pleased with this purchase and this will make a superb adition to my collection.

I am very interested in knowing if anyone has ever come accross an UNC or AU of this note? The best I have ever seen is possibly a VF35 or EF40

I will try to post the scans if anyone is interested in seing it. It may take a little while as I have been having problems with my FTP server lately.

Just acquired a 1935 $1 English with serial number A0000008 in Unc.  I paid well over book, but how
often do you see a 1935 bank note with a serial number less than 10 for sale.  The number 8 will have
some special interest to an Asian paper money collector.

Think according to my Grade 6 math there couldn't have been more than 9 of these printed in total, given the prefix, this is probably the only one around. Dunno. It's a nice original Unc. I like it.

I paid 25% over book at Torex today for the following set of notes from Don Olmstead.  I was content in paying
that price since the notes are totally original, grade CUnc to GUnc and they are all solid 7s, one of the more
desirable solid numbers.

These go well with my 1954 $50 solid 7s.

Very interesting, some of the 7777777 serial numbers have Curved-Stem 7's while others have Straight-Stem 7's. Have these  font variations on the 1954 Series been reported and/or studied before?

By the way, you could refer to these 7777777 notes as "Super Sevens" as there are SEVEN 7's on each note!

The straight stems on the "7s" is a feature of notes printed by CBN while the curved stems only appear on
notes printed by BABN.

Many thanks. I should have noticed that myself after so many decades of collecting!
