I got this note about 7 months ago and I wanted to keep it because one of the 4s on the serial number looks different then the others. Its not big, but its there...

What do you think?

They are careless with the ink like that more often these days. And because you can find many consecutive like this, means there is alot of supply.  Unless it (the ink run) was very significant, and the note was perfect UNC, then there would likely be no premium attatched.

Persoanlly, I have seen this many times in new notes, but it is too costly to hold.

I agree with Huds,

I have seen darker and lighter numbers in serial many times.  :-/

No special premium unless it is a special note or a significant error.  :)

Thank you very much for your help.  :) Now I can use it to help me buy a note I need.  8-)
