I thought this would be a useful resource for forum members: a complete listing of all possible ROTATOR/SWIMS serial numbers.

Is your note a rotator?  Search the list.  If it's not listed, it ain't a rotator.

Presbyoptic rotators with '1' don't count.  Sorry eyevet.   ;)

One can probably add a small premium because it's also a rotator, but first and foremost it is a solid note. As any observer of the recent TICF auction would have noticed, the prices for such notes tend not to follow any book value and the prices are all over the board.

Thanks, CJ

Out of that list, I created another list

The charateristics of the components is that each actually consists of three rotating part.
e.g.  the  0800080 consists 080 000 080

0800080
0808080
6090609
6098609
6890689
6898689
8080808
8088808
8880888
9060906
9068906
9860986
9868986

Is there a name for these rotators ?  triple rotator ? ,  Super rotator ?  (I exclude 0808080 and 8080808
8880888 because they are better known as 2 digit radars or repeaters.

    What about 6090609 6898689 9060906 9868986  ?

cheers

ain't rotators more interesting than radars ?

John
