Hi Folks. I'm in need of a little assistance here. I friend has aquired some CTC notes and wants to know their value. He is unable to locate a catalogue.  Both notes are 50 years of service notes 1922-1972. The 3 cent note is in VF condition and has serial #R1623027. The $1 note is in EF and has serial #W0066711. Any help with prices or the loation of a catalogue for sale would be great.

There are two varieties of the 1972 series. Look at the top corners where its written 3¢ and $1,  is the number white or is it black? These two varieties have two different values as the white numbers are much rarer. Anyhow, both varieties of the 1972 series are rare.

          White         Black
3¢           $20          $12
1$           $120*          $55
*Very Rare!

Thanks for the help. Are the prices quoted for the grades mentioned? Any ideas where I can find a catalogue?
