Misaligned letters in serial of a 1986 $2

I have this 1986 $2 (Bird series- Thiessen-Crowe BC55b).

The "B" are misaligned (one is higher and the other is lower than the rest of the line). Is this considered an error ?

This is a very common occurance with the bird series notes. I can't see anyone paying a premium for this. Just my oppinion though.

I have seen the same variation on Bird's $100s with a digit slightely shifted up or down.
