Yesterday I was in a Burger King in north end Waterloo, where prominently posted signs insist they won't take $100 bills (or $50's either) - plastic cheerfully accepted in lieu.
(1) Is this continuing refusal to accept $100's widespread?
(2) Is it ignorance on the part of the franchise operator or sheer cussedness?
I had nothing bigger than a $20 in any case but was still miffed (although I kept that information to myself).
