So far, we've seen EJEs reported here with a low of EJE 4756201-210 by Westercanadiancoins, & a high of EJE 4988038-42 by Dean.

Granted that they are all inserts, this will make an interim count of approx 240000 inserts for now.

I met a lucky collector today at the Boucherville QC show who had EJE4990994 radar note in UNC. He got it from a friendly teller at his local bank, so I'm not sure if this note is really an insert.

EJE 1822752 - 57   - New EJE insert range reported by a fellow collector who is also a contributor of the current & previous Charlton.

They were found in Vancouver, BC. & are located between note 002 & 003 in the top bundle of EJD0376xxx.  All notes have fp 42 & bp 28.

Anyone have any idea why EJE note values only go as high as AU condition and not up to UNC. values in the new 17th edition of Charlton?

That is a spacing and alignment error, I believe.  Shift those lines over to the right by one column and everything works out.

(So, EJE inserts in AU are f.v., in UNC, they are $150.00)

Has there been any more confirmed insert ranges on the EJE $100's, other then the ranges in the 17th Edition of Charlton Catalogue.

5 Ranges for EJE inserts are given in the charlton...
EJE 3740000-3760000
     4600000-4620000
     4720000-4740000
     4940000-4960000
     4980000-5000000
Another small EJE insert range has been discovered by "kobecurrency" -August 22 2004:
EJE 1822752-1822757... Much of these EJE inserts were printed in sheets of 20,000 so it might be possible that this new range would be 1820000-1840000 as inserts.

In addition some BJZ notes are pottentially inserts as they have been found mixed in with BKG notes. So far it is only suspected that BJZ notes in the low 5 millions are/might be insert notes... an area to pay attention to!

As for the BJZ insert notes, they are super difficult to find in any condition.   :-/  I believe they're be more tough to find than the EJE inserts notes as the CBN and BABN company get more accustom to printing the new Journey Series notes.   The quality control on the $100 Journey notes are much improved compared to it's earlier prefixes when they were issued.

  Smile from your heart.  ;D
