Seems that the note/sheet was fed upside down.  As a result, the hologram strip printed on the right hand side of the note with the hologram 20s upside down.  Interesting indeed.

  Smile from your heart.  ;D

I wonder how Chalrton is going to price this error type.  Probably in the same category as the misplaced OSD on the Birds notes - but this error is more dramatic and the holograph is not only misplaced, it is upside down.

That's a beauty and should book more than the misplaced OSD which are somewhat suspicious in the first place. That error is dramatic and couldn't possibly be contrived. Good find Arthur!

In that condition it would be closer to 1/10th of the starting bid. Still an amazing note.

Wow what a turn off! ::) They must not be too serious about selling...and are only phishing....

Even $750 seems steep considering its condition-- esp in light of the fact that you can get a decent 75% offset printing error on an UNC (which is a much more dramatic error) for around $500 - $700.

Considering the grade it looks like it unknowinly passed through a number of hands already. The mystery is more how could anyone miss such an obvious error?

Tons of people... If they were to get this note, they would just treet it like any other 20 dollar bill and go buy a coffee or lotto ticket.

You got a point there. But I don't know very many legally blind coffee addicted gamblers.  ;)

Most non collectors would spend an error like this thinking that it may be a counterfit.
