How many of you have been lucky enough to get an error note in circulation?  I don't mean pulling one out of a brick!  I mean getting one in your change.

Never happened to me yet.  But I know that some of you have been lucky enough to have it happen to you.  Why not share your stories here?   :)

Well i found a 2002 $5 with an ink smear in my change a couple years ago. I had a post about it. You can see the thread at this site. http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1168800913. Here is a pic of it.

Found an HOV in about EF+ out of a bundle I picked up from BMO.  Had color bar along the entire top. The note was cut shifted down.

Left it in my glove compartment for about 20 minutes while I ran inside, and it was stolen in a break in.
Along with that was U/M 1954 $1, with no front plate number ( ONLY SEVEN KNOWN!)

Once I figure out how much it is worth, I guess I will register my claim.  I haven't done that yet.  Finaly they put bait cars out.  Finally I learned not to keep ANYTHING in the car.

I had a $5 (I say had because I've since sold it on e-bay) 5 or 6 years ago, that did not receive printing of "Bank of Canada" on the left of the bill, the indentation of the words was there, but there was no ink.
the story goes as this:  I had just started dating this girl(now my wife), who at the time worked at the casino here in Windsor, she quickly became facinated with my hobby of collecting money.  One night she comes over after work, and shows me this bill that she had gotten, I was thrilled, and told it was worth quite a bit of money.  She replied with,  O, maybe I should have bought the other ones too....  Other ones I say!?!.... yea, their were 7 or 8 of them that all looked the same, that were in sequence,.... she didn't figure they were worth anything because they had 7 or 8 with the same error.....         AUGH!!!
