Can I have input on this 1870 note with part of another bill above the original note. There are no holes and the corners are good. There is also a fair bit of crispness to the bill as well. So from my pic can you please give me your idea of the grade and what it may be worth with the so called error on the note. Thanks so very much:

To me this note looks to be in FINE condition but made to look better by washing. The fold that go just above her eyes and through the green 25 counters aswell as other you can see some detail is missing showing white lines. Sounds like it may be pressed also if there is crispness to it. Is there a chemical smell?

The extra note attached is fairly common as these were hand cut from sheets as needed. Have a look on ebay to see what it would sell for, they are there all the time. I think if a grade was not given it would sell on ebay for about $125.00.

Just my opinion and any others are welcome.

Thanks for the input. It does not seem to have a chem smell and it was said to be graded at vf? Yes there does seem to have some heavy lines through it in a couple spots. What is your opinion on a price at the vf grade? Thanks again Gary and look forward to others opinions as well:

Here is one on ebay now it is very similar to the one you have.

Watch what it sells for to get an idea what yours is worth.

It is ebay item #140157944429

Yes Thanks very much Gary:

I did see it end, I thought it would have went higher then it did, Do you think the exchange rate has a big effect on the highs and lows of the ebay fluctuation? Thanks again: 8) 8) 8)

I thought it would end right around were it did and if you want to watch ebay for other notes that are the same you will see they usually end for nearly the same amount.
