how to safely remove stickers from PMG graded holders

I was just wondering if anyone has had a label on there PMG graded holder and successfully removed it without damage. I know some dealers in particular put their prices on these stickers which I have to say really ticks me off because they distract from the note in the holder. I have tried to remove one, but the sticky residue still remains. Any suggestions beside getting them re submitted to be repackaged

Pure orange oil (not to be confused with an orange-based cleaner) is excellent to remove the gummy residue left after removing a label.  Do a try before if you're unsure about the plastic of the holder, but on most plastics, orange oil is harmless.  Alternatively, lighter gas can do the same job (with the same caution about the plastic).

You can get pure orange oil in a natural products shop (but it's costly in small quantities).

I use Tape-off you can purchase it in most hardware store. I use it to take out price sticker on holder or on toys i buy.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I will try the cheaper solution first,  and if that doesn't work I will definitely try the orange oil. If I'm still having a problem I guess it will have to be the lighter fluid and a match.

Use some rubbing alcohol. be liberal, should work in 5-10 seconds.

I have always used a product called Goo Gone and it's available at almost any dollar stores for a very good price of 3-4 dollars. I use it on plastic, cars, sleds, you name it it takes it off. I have always had good luck with it!

Acetone, also called finger nail polish remover, works well.

This is a controlled product and must be used safely.
