Prior to the WIKI site being up and running again there were comments regarding the possiblity of a brick of BER notes that may be out there.  Is there a reason that this comment has been removed, and if so why was it removed.

Following the wiki crash much of the data was reconstructed from archive material.  It is likely that the version of that file with the comment you refer to was lost and what shows up now is an older version which was resurrected.

eyevet is completely correct. The Internet Archive only archived from around late 2006 to early 2007, and the unconfirmed hoard had not been discovered at the time.

Thanks for the update.  Will the unconfirmed hoard (range) be placed on the WIKI site again to keep people informed ?

There are two Gem Unc BER 2003 notes listed in the CNA Auction catalogue- S/N 6129952 in PCGS Unc-68PPQ and another one in PCGSUnc-69PPQ although the S/N is not listed in the Canadian Coin News ad. Perhaps someone with the catalogue could kindly look it up?

Some information about the possible hoard can be found in this thread:

http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/forum/index.php?topic=6562.0

Some excerpts from the thread:

Based on the sequential serial numbers of these notes (BER 6129491-493 and BER 6129921-922) and the
small gap between them, can we assume that a brick, or at least several bundles of UNC notes exist ?

Just obtained, at the Edmonton show, BER6129085.
Does this mean there is a whole brick out there?
JWS

Based on John's purchase in Edmonton of BER 6129085 there does indeed appear to be a whole brick
of these notes.  Based on a print run of 8.6M notes it was inevitable that a large number of UNC notes
still existed out there.

I just spoke with a collector who was at the Edmonton Show and he said he saw UNC 2003 BERs at at least
three dealer tables (sudzee, C & P, Andy McKaig).

Note that the current CNA catalogue shows a G.Unc BER 2003 note S/N 6129952 which fits in quite nicely with the above ranges. There is also a second note as mentioned in my above post that does not list the serial number. I am quite tempted to contact the auctioneer and inquire about it... Might it be 51 or 53  ???

Hope this helps for the WIKI info!
