There's a listing an ebay for 150 currency holders, for about $30.00 (shipping included), is this a decent price?

That's about .20 cents each, I usually pay .60 at my local coin store.

Can anybody point me towards cheaper ones?

Thanks in advance.

This really depends on the quality of the sleeves.  I've seen crappy ones for 10 cents each and they do nothing but ruin your notes.

Personally, I think you should go for archival long-term sleeves (Mylar works) for better notes, and inexpensive ones for more common notes.

I use cheap sleeves because I don't have any good notes anyways.  ;D

Hi All,

I saw this while searching online, and I found  0.16 per sleeve.  Take a look.  The sleeve is made out of 0.005 inch thick profar polyester.  I'm not sure if this material is better than mylar.

It should be safe considering the fact the supplier said they are PVC free and ideal for long-term storage.

Best thing to do is to look at testimonials from others.

Keep an eye on the Trading Post, as Brent periodically posts a Mylar holder order. Everyone puts their name and amount required on the waiting list and the order is put in. Great holders, good price too.

I got a ton of them I need to sell.

200 at my house in Saskatoon that another forum member was going to buy, but not really sure what happened.

Make me an offer.

Mylar though. Make me an offer that is not a slap in the face and I will probably accept.

Bye for now- I am going away for a few days.

Hey Huds - Would you mind packing them with the other notes you're sending me please? Send me a PM with your reasonable price and I'll get it deposited to your account. I'm running low on Mylar sleeves.
