On some pages there will be numbers beside the prefix.

EXAMPLE pg 340.

BC-62aA   2001  Kn-D0: ANW (0.000M - 0.180M)


WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN (THE ONES IN BOLD)

Does it mean serial numbers      0 to 1.8 million In that prefix ???

In that case, it actually means serial numbers from 0 to 0180000. There should be a better explanation on page 312 under the heading "Replacement Notes".
