Wow, a very nice note. I would love to get it but I am in a financial fix at the indefinite moment.
Sigh  :'(

Anyways, there should be more Insert replacement radars around that members have. Anyone else have one or two to show?

Hi, sorry guys the note is not for sale, but for everyones viewing pleasure.

Insert radars are by far my favorite to collect, due to the fact that they are almost impossible to get. I've searched well over 100 bricks and have never personally found one.

I just got back from my SD box and pulled a few more to add to this topic.

Enjoy!  :)

Hey that's a nice Unc set Manada. Mine are not as in great shape as yours but I agree, they are quite few and far between. I remember bidding on the HOS 0818080 too, I started getting a little nosebleed as it went a teeny bit over my limit. There are definitely some out there albeit few.
Anyone else?  :)

Here's a few more I dug up.

This reminds me of the *S/S replacement note I bought from eBay, with the serial number 0175709. Even worse is that I purchased it as AU-Unc, though it seems to be pressed thus degrading it to a mere EF.

This note goes well with my favorite replacement radar, 1989 $10 ADX 0096900. I don't have a scan of it right now but I might get one of it soon.

The ALL 04969640 is OH so close to my AIX 0495940  or FEV 0498940. Would have made a really nice matching set.

I'm curious is that FEV0906090 an upside down number too? like if you flip it you still get a different radar.

Marc,

The closest I have seen is the following SNR repeater that I found in a brick:

2005 $10 Jenkins-Dodge, BTF (8.359M - 8.360M) - 4-Digit Cycle Repeater

BTF 8359835      CUnc      BC-68aA

BTW.........it is available for purchase if anybody is interested.

Monday I picked up my first insert sheet radar in about 3 years.

It was a $20.  The bad thing, is it is a range that is yet unconfirmed. It eventually will I think (I hope).

I found EZI 9979799 in circulation, only in Fine condition, and sold it for around $40 on eBay.  I still think insert radars are overrated.  Older series replacement radars are somewhat less overrated.

Perhaps the only one known and recorded, but there will be one repeater and one radar for every 1k in every SNR range.
