Bank Of Canada - Currency Museum

I was browsing the whole collection on the internet (Mostly 1954 notes, thats my favourite series) and I was just wondering why in the collection there are very common prefix's. 

The Bank of Canada displays their collection by the different series and only need an example of each note to display to the public. Most of the individuals that visiting the Museum are not familiar with prefixes and changeovers. In addition, the Bank of Canada will never sell their collection thus they are indifferent on which prefix they own or display.

I was viewing some of the 1935 $500 notes and they have so many of them.(including some french ones). But my computer didn't load all of the pictures.

The Bank of Canada has saved several copies for every series they issued of which most are serial number one.
I beleive Brent can share more but I had received pictures of signed $500 note all in UNC and numbered 1 through 5. As there are only 7 of these $500 in private hands this this set was surely the best run ive seen.

If you ask the currency museum for a list of all there notes do you think they will give you one?

I highly doubt it, unless you personally know the curator of the Bank. 

I emailed the currency museum and they said they could not supply me with a list because there are over 10,000 notes in the  collection!
