A 1954 $1 no-FPN, no-BPN *B/M 0000003 note would be worth a lot of money. Show it to me and I'll make an offer.

Yes it would.

After Brent is finished if you still own it I'd be happy to make you an offer.

It is also possible that some notes between 0.32M-0.48M do have the FPN. It seems that these particular missing FPN notes are rare and not easy to find.

The No FPN's are a sneaky bunch..
There are a lot of *BM Notes but almost every one you see has an FPN.

There was a No FPN that ended a week or so ago on E-Bay but I gave up bidding at $30 or so.  It appeared UNC.   The seller didn't list it as a No FPN but just a *BM Note.

I do have a *BM with No FPN and even better it is a Radar :)

It falls in the 0.32 to 0.47 Million range as well.

How did you know.  Lol.. Yeah it was a good Deal I thought for the price I paid.

Yes it is *B/M 0419140

The note is prob only Mid VF Grade but..  its a triple combo note..

Replacement Note ,  Special (No FPN) and Radar :)

Were you watching that one on E-Bay and didn't get to bid?  I really didn't think I would win it that cheap.

Hey Roland,

The 1954 $5 note serial number 0000003 is at local coin shop. Tried to purchase it but it is only a VF+....

Can anyone shed some light or know if there has been anything published on how many *BM Notes do Not have an FPN?

ie: Approx number of *BM notes with No FPN?

I have read the Charlton info on how they got approval from the BOC to stop using Plate Numbers.. but then the RCMP said "Put them back please" but no infro on the approx numbers of No FPN notes were released.

Any insight would be great..
