I believe the question is:  how many 2003 BEK non-inserts have been found or saved by collectors, not how many notes were printed.

Thanks for point out my over sight, I should have addressed that, but I do not have a crystalball to give that answer. No one will ever know, but it is a tougher note.

I think that the range you have Elwoodbluesca  is incorrect.  I have an feeling that the replacement range has changed.

cheers

Wasn't there suppose to be 7,200,000 -2003 BER printed -but not necessarily released?

There were suppose to be 40,000,000 BEL-BEP printed and released. Charlton states that "Large numbers of Jenkins-Dodge $10 notes were withdrawn, unissued, when the more secure issue of 2005 became available."

We all know few BEL, 2003 BEK (insert or non), and BEP saw the light of day.   For some reason, many 2003/2004 notes came out in sporadic random order, and not at all what we were expecting.  I think it will be a while yet before we know exactly how rare a lot these notes are.
