Count me in. Either day is good. I would prefer a location closer to the 401, but it's not a big deal.

I hope to see as many of you folks as possible out there for dinner!

<tongue-in-cheek>
To be clear, this is just a seasonal gathering to promote friendship, fellowship and to have a good time as a group. Although eyevet called it a "Christmas" party, you can consider it a Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Seasonal/Festive/Holiday/New Years/Winter Solstice party or whatever else you want to call it. There will be no cross burnings, no birthday cakes, no scripture sing-a-longs and no jihads at this event, nor will anyone be required to anoint themselves in holy oil prior to the meal. I apologize in advance to all the folks who were hoping to sacrifice a goat. Hopefully the menu will include a rack of lamb instead. I prefer dishes prepared from the non-denominational sacrificial cow: a burger.
</tongue-in-cheek>

Seriously though, just come on out and have a great time if you're able to make it.

Dear Seasonal Revelers,

Unfortunately a number of people who were initially able to come (including myself), had to change their plans and now cannot make it to the CPMF seasonal party on Jan 8th.  The group is now down to three, so I would propose that we cancel for now and try again either at CAND, Torex or in March.

Let me know which is better for you and we can start a new plan.

Hi Mike, I really was looking forward to dining with you and the others, but living in Scarborough it was a bit too far for me. I am attending the Torex on Saturday and would like to propose that we all go to a nearby restaurant for dinner say around 5:30. I know quite a few other Forum members are also going on Saturday so perhaps this venue will attract more then 3 members :-\. Any others planning on going to dinner can post under this thread :). Rob

There is always usually a Lunch and sometimes a Dinner if enough guys are still around for, that members / non-members get together for at every Torex, and anyone is always welcome to join in.

Not sure when Chuck is doing the paper portion of the Auction, so that might through a wrench into things.
