ELwood and firesq.......
I don't care what you said.
I just trust auction sale not by your comments.
Elwood, you offered me $200 by PM.
Thank you very much.
This note is paper money blunder not paper money error.
Nowadays, there're only 2 misprinted notes surfacing.
The blunders are the selling points.
Anyway, there's a famous auctioneer accepting to do auction for my note.
If I can't get good price then I keep it as a toy paper.
The King of misprinted note is(Double denomination).
My misprinted note is the Queen of misprinted note (Hybrid Note).

I think that by turning this so called 5K note into origami would be a mistake,
but if elwood offered you 200 I will offer you $210. ;D

Hello Total,

I did not make an offer of $200, I stated that the note would be most likely going into the next catalogue in the $200 range. This is based on the information that is currently available for the note ranges.
Sure I would be interested in the note, but you really did not indicate that you were serious about selling, as I received no response, thus I did not pursue. Please do PM me with a selling price you are looking for and we can go from there.

Yes this is a Hybrid note, and yes it is cool. But no matter how cool it is, the quantity of notes dictates the market selling price.
Remember this:
1st sale is a sale
2nd sale is a trend
3rd sale is a market

This is a new discovery, and some people not understanding or ignoring the market will jump all over this new find and overpay most of the time. Why because they have not collected all of the available info and analyze the situation.

As for the Bank of Canada museum, they would not want this note, as they do not consider this to be anything special. How do I know this, I have been there when others have offer the curators error notes, and for free, and they turn the offer down.

Then I'll shred these hybrid notes and throw it to garbage can.

Don't do that, that would be silly.
My point - According to the Bank of Canada, this note is only ever worth $10, and they have stated that in the past when shown other error notes, even on the news.

Your note is worth only what someone is willing to pay...regardless of what you think it is worth.

It's  matterless anymore. I put it in my safe deposit box forever.
