We are still in need of all this data, and thank you to all who have been continuing to report their numbers!

Going forward, please add your notes to the Serial Number Database. Be sure to follow the simple formatting instructions and include the FPN and BPN.

Notes do NOT need to be posted to this thread unless they are errors.

If you happen to find an error, please post to this thread in addition to adding the note to the SNDB. Otherwise, all notes added are assumed to be non-errors.

Thank you!

BTT 3261389 82/91- Error

Spotted this error note today in Vancouver Oakridge show, and the owner was kind enough to let me look at it and take down the details for reporting. Note entered into SNDB.

It would be nice to know how many have been reported so far and were they found all across the country or just restricted to certain local areas.

BTU 2174133 67/88 - error, Vancouver, BC.

Finally picked up this note thanks to some great assistance from my buddy over hundreds and thousands of tens. Without that, I never get this note.

Note being entered into SNDB.

Seems that since the SNDB began all forum discussion of these errors stopped, maybe because no more are being found.

Very few have been found lately, probably as a direct result of the work that the Bank of Canada has clearly been doing to cull as many from circulation as possible. However, BTT and BTU notes continue to be added to the SNDB on a daily basis.

Regardless of where or how data from BTT and BTU notes are reported, some errors will be unreported on purpose because some owners of these notes want to keep the population of reported notes kept low for the perceived (and likely incorrect) reason that hiding the info will keep the market prices higher.
