Does anyone kow where I can find registry information for 19th century Merchant Bank of Canada notes.

You can find the basic information in The Canadian Bank Notes (6th charlton)...

1863-1923.. Established in 1864 in Montreal as the Merchants Bank, the name of the Merchant Bank of Canada was adopted in 1868... etc...

Do you have this book ? If not.. i could take the time to write the description to you..
