I just got my copy of the 19th edition. Here's something that will make you wanna weep (I know it made me wanna cry):
In 1985 I bought a pristine UNC 1974 $2 replacement note (*UG) for $4.50. I bargained the guy down from $8.00.
In 1991 I sold the note for $20.00. Thought I had made a shrewd deal.
In 2005 (17th ed) Charlton's booked this note at $175.00.
This year the 19th ed books it at $325.00!
Ouch, and pass the Kleenex!! What's that old saying about 20/20 hindsight?
