Dominion of Canada 1911, $500 note

The note in question is not the same as the one portraid on the torex page. His is clearly serial number 012735.

Any taughts

I think that two example of the 500$ 1911 are know. Could it be the other example? Or it's a new one? If it's a new one it's an incredible discovery. It's rare that a note or coin with a book value in the six digits is discovered.

Please:  what  is the  color  of  the  reverse  of  the  circulated  note?

A dealer friend of mine from the Toronto area told me last year that "several" $500 & $1000 Dominion of Canada issued notes are in the hands of an old-time aristocratic family in Toronto but he cautioned that these notes will probably never ever enter the collector's marketplace. This gentleman (who I've known for 30 years) has always proved to be 100% reliable with his information in the past and I have no reason not to believe him in this instance.

In regards to the color on the back, I do not hve the bill with me at this moment, I took  hanmers suggestion and put it in mu safety deposit box in the bank.

Kid's comment in regards to the color on the back is correct, brownish tint..

This newly discovered note is now for sale by heritage auctions with an opening bid of $100,000.

  This note is one of the best notes to show up first here on the forums.

 Ebay Item # 170258140550

THe note on Heritage Long Beach Sale (Septmeber 2008) sold for $322,000. It was graded VF20.
