Hi,
I just recently found a Rogers/Macklem $100. I tried to include a pic, but I haven't been successful as of yet.

The serial number is HJM 5388193, I've reported it in the SNDb but it shows in the Lane / Macklem row.

Happy collecting,
Kyle.

Rogers-Macklem $100 notes (cdnpapermoney.com)

The changeover occurred during the HJH prefix and was first reported in January, but the SNDB has not yet been updated to reflect the new signature combination. Not sure if there is a delay in awaiting official confirmation, or if there are some other reasons. I do hope it can be remedied soon.

I have a feeling that the Rogers-Macklem $100s will take a while to come to Atlantic Canada, considering that I have only seen fresh $100 notes in the prefixes of GKT and GKU in recent months so far.

I also discovered a trend that whenever I see new $100 prefixes in my hometown, I usually see them in clusters of two or three consecutive prefixes, then jump ahead to another cluster.  Two years ago, I remember seeing GKC, GKD and GKE.  Last year, I remember seeing GKN and likely GKU. It could be possible that GKV could be the next prefix to arrive in my hometown (hopefully later this year), and then after that (likely as early as next spring), I may finally see the first of the HJ* prefixes (which I expect could likely be HJB, HJC and the long-awaited HJD - and it makes sense since those will likely have been the three latest Lane-Macklem HJ* prefixes released to Canada by that point).  After that cluster, it could be then (2026, likely) that I could finally see the Rogers-Macklem signatures on $100 notes, but the earliest prefixes in that signature combo coming to my province could likely be much later in the HJ* series (like say, HJU, for example).

Typically, for new prefixes coming to Newfoundland, it takes on average about two years from the initial release in Canada before they finally arrive to Atlantic Canada.  And even if I do see new prefixes, there will likely be only a small number of such new bills mixed in with a lot of recycled notes.  As I said before, new prefixes are a hit or miss these days.
