Hi everyone,
I like what I see on the new twenty. The portrait is very well done (as are all in this series) and lifelike. It is nice to see a cool green note for a change. Kind of like the 1969 20's vibrant green colour. I also like the art on the back and it's nice to see Native culture highlighted on a banknote. However, the $100 and now the $20 are rather sparse in design on the reverse compared to the $5 and $10.
I wonder what the inscription below the portrait reads? "H.M. QEII... It seems that people need reminders of our history these days (like names and dates of prime ministers and titles.) There was a time that people knew this stuff by heart
Oh well, enough ranting...well done BoC!!
Cheers,
Dean.
