I had the chance to buy a note of this prefix in AU condition a couple of years ago.  Too bad I passed on it or I could have sent it to Florida and had it returned as an Unc-63!

BCS are know very conservative.

Yup BCS is Conservative..  If by Conservative you mean they Grade by Charlton Standards.

I like the fact I personally can "trust" a grade given by BCS on what I have sent in and seen from them. 

For example.   Item 180520752559 you know where.

I am not saying this seller did some "Arts and Crafts" to the notes prior to sending in for grading but..

At least BCS has the Guts to write "Trimmed" right on the holder so you know it was trimmed.   

Otherwise you would probably never know these notes were trimmed from an Auction Photo.

Jumping an entire grade on a High Value note is a lot of money.

Hence the saying round here... Grade the Note... Not the Holder.

BCS are know very conservative.

I disagree.  I find their grading to be accurate, though not entirely precise.  They are mostly within a half grade on either side of what I consider correct, and I think my grading is in line with Charlton standards, though not by design.  BCS also professes to use Charlton grading as its standard, so to say "BCS is conservative" is akin to saying that the accepted grading standards for paper money in Canada are conservative.
