Hi everyone it seems to be very quite on the site the past couple of days, lots of people visiting but very few new post. I thought I'd throw this at everyone and see if there's a response. Here's a two digit radar shin-plaster I picked up recently but I'm finding it difficult to determine a value. Just go ahead and state your opinions as I know it's not in that great of condition but with old radars you don't have a large selection to chose from and your obliged to take them as they come. The picture is the one the eBay seller had used. When I receive the note I'll take better pictures to post, the top right corner is not missing merely bent over. Opinions on the grade and value please?

[edit] Please kindly have patience, while everyone might have interest esp with your thread title, not everyone has insight or opinion on this subject matter. As you see below eventually someone will contact you or give you their opinion, there is no need to make comments like the one you have made above.

If you got this on ebay and you purchased it recently then I'd say the value is what you paid for it.

The only way to value something like this is from auctions and sales as they don't come up often.

Hey Hounddog,

Just seen a 1923 shinplaster on eBay that is also a 2 digit radar, the grade is a bit better than your's but its the only comparable. The seller is asking $999 which I think is much more than its worth, but you never know.

item number: 370352377815
