Hi All,

Brand new to forum and collecting.

Are ink smears on the SN's considered an error?

I wouldn't think so but one never knows if they don't ask!

Also, 1954 series, what X/T, is that a replacement? (I know wrong section, thought I'd throw that one in anyway  :P)

Thanks

for which question? lol

the 1954 serial number is X/T 5256701, Beattie-Rasminsky.  I'll scan a pic and upload when I get the chance, cooking din din right now. as for the ink run serial number, I will have to post on Monday as I have left it at work on my desk.  I was just wondering if that would be considered an error or not.  I came across about 3 of them on Friday while reconciling my cash.

Thanks!

if you can post a pic of the error on Monday that would be great
The Journey series has had a variety of ink smear type errors but it depends on how bad it is ..(the worse the better :)  )

In the 54 series the replacement notes will be signified by an asterisk infront of the prefix letters.
