Hi all. I am going down to Seattle for a few days next week and knowing this, my sister brought me some US cash she just got as a tip at work.

One of them is a 2006 $10 star note in AU/Unc, serial #IB01282275, series number B2.

Any idea as to its value before I spend it? I am especially interested as the other server apparently got the other 3 in sequence, and is hanging onto them for a bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Fenian

Since your note is in AU/UNC i would probably hang onto it. Generally star notes are worth more than regular notes especially when they are in higher grade.  Unfortunately my catalogue is a 2006 so it only covers notes up to 2004 but should have a value >$25.

Those notes were part of a run of 19,200,000 notes printed in October 2010.

A good place to start is to look up the pricing for similarly sized runs of $10 star notes.

Ok Thanks for the update BWJM, these were quite common then. So comparing to recent issues that had 10,000,000+ printed they were valued at $30 in Choice Unc so in AU/UNC the value would be at around $20.
