Police Trying To Find Owner Of Antique Coins

(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) - Members of the Wellington County OPP Street Crime Unit have been working in conjunction with the Halton Regional Police Service in an effort to solve a number of break and enters that have occurred in both jurisdictions. Police investigations have revealed a quantity of outstanding property that needs to be returned to the owners.

Officers from the Halton Regional Police Service in Georgetown have located a number of antique coins that they believe may have originated from a break and enter in Wellington County and are requesting the public’s assistance in finding the rightful owner.

“The Halton Regional Police in Georgetown have recently come into possession of several antique coins. Member of the 11 Division Property Crimes Unit are investigating the origins of these coins in efforts of determining if they have been lost or stolen. The Halton Police are urging anyone who has recently lost antique coins or had them stolen from them to contact Detective Constable Paul Harrower at #9065 at 905-878-5511 ext. 2113”.
