Picked up 25 of the new notes from Scotiabank main commercial branch in downtown Vancouver. Nice looking notes.

BIG6254940 - 64, FP and BP 69

Has your local bank had any?

Called my bank to order some and was told that they got a memo saying ATMs would be given priority.
So I too am probably going to receive old ones.

I collect banknotes depicting Tallships. And to a lesser degree, all watercrafts.

Didn't have the time to make it to a bank branch before closing time. Tried an ATM tonight and all I got was old 20s.

Just got my hands on a bunch from a TD cash machine on the YorkU campus. BIJ prefix.

Nice looking note!

Went yesterday to 1 ATM at my local RBC branch, nothing, old 20$... I went to my other local branch DesJardins, same thing. Today, I'll try again ! They said the same thing, the ATM first and asap !

If you would be so kind as to please enter your notes into the Serial Number Database, your work will help everyone.  Thanks!

No luck at my local brabches in Toronto yet.  I have accounts at several banks and have tried:

RBC at Leslie and Lakeshore
Scotiabank at MAin and Danforth
RBC at Yonge and Grenville
CIBC at Gerrard Square
CIBC Parliament and Carlton
TD at Parliament and Carlton
RBC at Pape and Danforth

You'd figure that in a big city, the banks would get larger volumes of notes...
I haven't had time to visit the main branches downtown but I have been able to obtain the new issues of notes very easily going all the way back to the launch of the Journey Series $10 in 2000.

Oh well, They will be all over the place in a week or so...I guess I will have to wait...

The hologram of the Queen looks much better than the actual portrait.  I found that they are generally washed out and flat.

The angle has changed slightly too...

It was by pure luck I stumbled on an ATM that had them. Only 1 out of the 4 TD machines were giving out new 20s. RBC, BMO and Scotia were still doling out the old ones.

One odd find with my 20s was the notes seemed to be all from a bundle ending in 500-599, but the bundles were exactly 50,000 notes apart. I made multiple visits hoping I would snag a radar note, but no luck. :(

Four different banks and credit unions in Winnipeg and Steinbach all said 'nope'.  Try again tomorrow!

Went to the ATM today after reading the posts and noticed after withdrawing $40 that my bank alternated between the old notes and the new notes.Got BIU 7688611 and was within 76 notes of a radar x2.Went back a few times and a few hours later but I got it 7886887.
