I have seven 1967 bills in sequence - L/O 8539643 to L/O 8539649 inclusive - in AU condition. Could anyone give me an idea as to value?

They are worth about $7 each in AU.   Hope this helps.

Thank you. The more I read about them, the less sure I am of their condition. They've never been in circulation, but they're not in a special container. Does that make them AU or uncirculated - or something else entirely? Pardon my ignorance, I have no idea about these things. I'm a postcard collector, not a numismatist.

Try

& study the info on the various grades,

or go to:

& <third thread down> "Current Grading Practices" (I believe)
