1954 Devil's Face $20.00

I have the following Devil's Face $20.00 notes I will be trying to sell.  I have sent a list of them to a company that purchases Canadian bank notes.  They are all in good condition.  What kind of price can I expect to get for them?  I am waiting for a reply from them.

These are good notes. Good condition doesn't mean much without pictures but generally if they have been circulated but are still in decent shape with only a few minor folds this would be considered VF. In that condition your looking at $70 for the A/Es, $80 for the B/Es and $60 for the C/Es and D/Es. Prices go way up the better the grade. These are the prices listed in the catalog, from the company you might only get 50-55% of those values. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information.  I received an answer from a purchaser this morning stating they give a very small premium on these notes.  I will have to scan them so that I can get a more realistic value on them.

Pictures always help the evaluation process.  But even before we get to see those, it is apparent that some of your A/E and C/E notes have consecutive serial numbers, so they are probably better than just mid-grade notes unless they were really poorly mishandled since being put aside many years ago.  Even if they are not uncirculated notes, consecutive serial numbers are seen as desirable and should add a bump to whatever price you get for them.
