I've noticed recently that $5 bills have made a comeback to the majority, if not all BMO ATMs in the GTA.

BMO ATMs ever since I could remember only had $20s. Now, the machines have $5, $20 and $50 bills available and also allow you to select the denominations you want (up to 40 notes per transaction.)

Hopefully this is a trend that continues. TD has begun installing machines that allow you to pick every denomination from $5 to $100 (up to a maximum of 200 bills), and I've also seen Scotia installing machines that has $5 to $100 bills available too.

Yes I noticed this last Wednesday.  Took out $1000 and thought I was going to get the amount in $20s.
Machine gave me the option of the least amount of bills so I accepted that. 20x $50!

Next time I'm going for all $5s. :)

An Edmonton TD Banking machine now gives you the opinion of picking
$5, $10, $20 and $50 bank notes.

You can even pick the amount you want of each note.

I must be in heaven.

I've also started noticing some CIBC machines are giving out $100 bills. You now can pick between $20, $50 and $100.

Good trend with more ATMs offering more than $20 bills and your choice of how you want it.
