Are $100 Polymers Carney signatures scarce?

I guess it depends - for a homeless person
I would say yes

For a collector not really ... in my opinion
A few prefixes may be tougher than others
To find but nothing that will be life changing

I do know that Macklem/Carney $100s are relatively abundant here in Newfoundland, but there may be more commonly Macklem/Poloz and Wilkins/Poloz $100s now.

EKA-FKN is a wide range. That's a good 50% or so of the printed polymer 100s. While they're getting slightly less frequent due to age and newer releases, I wouldn't consider it any rarer than getting a 5 that starts with HB.

That being said the mythical EKZ is an automatic keeper should you be lucky enough to be graced with its presence. Depending on your standards, you might also want to keep the unusually scarce but not impossibly rare EKY as well.

I still see plenty of $5s with prefixes starting with HB in Newfoundland, though I do admit, I seem to see slightly fewer now.  The odds of finding a prefix like HBJ, to name one, are very slim in my province nowadays.

Though I do admit, I did come across a M/C HBG $5 recently, in the 1.3 million range.  Unfortunately, I spent it afterwards.
