A few notes from the '70s

This is my first post so please let me know if it's not correctly formatted or I'm not providing enough (or the correct) information.  I'm very much a layman, but I do have the Charlton 2023 edition to hopefully make this post less of a waste of your time.  A few notes from the 70s that were passed to me from a friend, originally from an estate sale.  I suspect most of them are only worth face value but I am curious about a couple, mostly because I don't trust my own reading of the Charlton and I lack personal knowledge.  I am certainly out of my depth trying to assess grading. I will attach images.   

1973 1$ Issue x 2.
Both are Lawson-Bouey
Catalog No. is BC-46aA
SNs are AFH 6404923 and AFH 6785320
Quality seems to be good to very good, as far as I can tell.



1974 2$ Issue
Lawson-Bouey
catalog No. is unclear but I assume is either BC-47a-i or BC-47aA-i
SN is AGG 7963051
Quality is good



1979 5$ Issue x 2
Lawson-Bouey
catalog No. BC-53a
SNs are 3041592102 and 30394175410
quality on the 303 is good at best, quality on the 304 seems at least very good to me. 




1971 10$ Issue
Lawson-Bouey
catalog no. 49cA
SN is EDY 8367934
quality is good as best I can tell



My reading of the guide tells me that the 5s and the 2 are pretty much face value.  The 1s and the 10 may be more, or I may be reading the guide incorrectly or misinterpreting something.  Any help or direction is appreciated from this complete amateur.

Definitely all face value notes.  Collectors would need AU/Unc or better.

The names used for grades of paper money are, ahem., euphemistic, to say the least.  While your assessment of "very good" for the grade is pretty much spot on, this is a low grade by a collector's standards and would be collectible only in the case of very old and/or rare notes.  Notes from this series have been horded in the millions and are most certainly not of any interest to collectors in this condition.

You could always keep them as a keepsake or to give to a kid who might become a future collector some day.  Or go to a coin show and use them to buy a single Unc note that might have some collectible value!
