Does anyone know the defined or approx. changeover point between the Large F and Small F for this $50 FHG Thiessen-Crow prefix?

I remember seeing FHG's with the large F variety in the 5-Million ranges and below, and with the small F variety in the 6-Million ranges and above.

So, my two cent's worth is that the changeover may be somewhere in the 5-Million or 6-Million ranges.

Hope this helps!

Funny, I remember seeing FHG5561450 being a Large F variety, and FHG6736826 being a Small F variety. Check page 286 of your copy of the Chartlon guide, 17th Edition.

I think we both may be right in saying that the changeover from large F to small F somewhere in the 5-Million to 6-Million ranges.  8)

As for the Charlton guide, 17th edition, I still don't have one as yet.  I was supposed to be receiving a copy of the Charlton guide from another member ages ago.  :-/

You could always just go and get one yourself.  They're not expensive, but they're worth their weight in gold if you're a collector of Canadian government paper money.  Alternatively, if you cannot find one at a local coin shop, eBay usually has a ready supply.  Mind you, at this point in the year, you'd be best to wait until the 18th Edition comes out in a couple months.

I knew about the stuff on p.286, and gives us a broad idea that the changeover happened between those two numbers.
If you have any FHG notes within those two ranges, please post them here. My goal for this post is to get as close as we could to the actual change-over point.
