I corrected the first post

FEP4732173 Bp#42 FP#28
end of FEP
then came in the middle
FEP4732000 BP# 42 FP# 28
then start

We could read before FEP4732173 Fp#29 instead 28.

Thanks to Hudson to learn me I could modify the post!

Hi Bitburger & others,

I have a 2004 $10 FEP5097418.  After reading all the FEPs and FERs, I'm not sure if FEP5097418 is a replacement or could it possible a Test note?  Any thoughts from you is appreciated.  This is interesting to me.

Thanks,
Jarod

Hi Jarod, thanks for the question- I can tell from the date of the previous post, that you have been doing your homework :-)

As far as FEP goes, those ranges are pretty much settles from what I know, since bricks of those are long gone, and the researched information has been disseminated as best as possible.  So, the most recent catalogue should be the guide to tell for sure (BWJM's website also will reflect the catalogue).

I do not have a copy handy, but that's where to go for something. I am pretty sure yours falls into the regular note category.  Also, with regards to test notes, all evidence, from research, and statements from the Bank of Canada, point to it not being a test note.

Glad you find it interesting, keep hunting!!  Ask more Qs if you got'em!

Best Regards,

Hudson

FEP Notes numbered 0.045M-0.135M are replacement notes. These are very scarce replacements.
FER Notes Numbered 9.315-9.90M are the common replacements which are very widely available but FER 9.90-9.99M are also Replacements but are considered very rare within this range.
