Just found a stash of 15 $2, all 1986.  :)
Must have saved them in 96, unfortunately they are all marked (mostly by me :-[ ) and in F-VG condition. Coins are so much more kid-proof :P

Time to spend them I guess

I collect banknotes depicting Tallships. And to a lesser degree, all watercrafts.

Sounds like a good batch to spend.
It shows that notes should be put away in safe places, in proper holders whenever possible.

Coins are almost as prone to external damage, many mint sets and proof sets have been ruined by moisture and fondling by little fingers.

The worst is when you hear about someone with a stash that has been kept in a jar buried outside behind the shed (to save from robbers of course).  Coins OR notes, this is BAD BAD BAD!! :'(  The temperature changes do not bode well for either.
