The next $10 prefix - BEW, BEY, BEZ, then what?
Is BDx part of the $100 series? Or is it going to jump to BLA (Like the $20s skipped to L in the middle)

Just curious.

Previously used prefixes can be found at http://www.cdnpapermoney.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1120518923. Using the chart may help in coming up with the next possible prefix for BABN tens.

You could also view the full set of prefix tables by clicking the following link:

This list was just updated yesterday. I will update the images such as the link in Gary's post within the next few days. This information is also available in the Reference Guides forum of this website.

I've just updated the above-mentioned graphics and the PDF file.

Also, to find out about several more changeovers, I've sent off another email to my friends at the Bank of Canada. One can only wonder what the Bank will reply with this time.

It cannot be ARA because this was used on the 1974 $2, then again ALA was used on the 1973 $1 and re-used on the 2004 $20
Well if all holds well BTA should be the next prefix after BEZ
