The most fun way is to travel to a country where they use them and get them out of circulation.  Then you get a holiday as a bonus!  ;)  I got a nice set of Romanian ones that way.

J and M coins in Vancouver had a nice variety of them for sale too last time I was there.

You can also check eBay, there are always a whole whack of them for sale.  They are often overpriced, though.  a 2000 lei polymer note from Romania usually sells for $1 plus shipping, even though the face value is only 10 Canadian cents.  :-/

Go to any foreign exchange operation, they can order such notes sometimes. They usually will have Australian and New Zealand notes, Thai polymer, if you get lucky they might have it. You could look on internet for Taiwanese, Romanian, Brunei polymer notes as well

I agree... All of my polymer notes have come from online auctions or connections made through said auctions.

Just like in a coin store, you need to know the "catalogue" values when buying at auction (and take shipping into account).

Some polymer / tyvek notes don't seem to come up for auction too often and for those you may want to shell out a few more dollars. I have some I knowingly paid well more than cat. value and others I paid well below.  I don't take "face value" into account too much, but how difficult they are to acquire.

A reputable online dealer in Australia, Trevor, sells quite a few polymer:
www.polymernotes.com/cat-polymer.html

I don't have a World Bank Note catalogue (most polymer issues are fairly recent & since I only collect Canadian and polymer I'm not shelling out big $ for one!!)
I use Stane's site as a general reference for "cat. values": www.polymernotes.org

Hope this helps.  :)
