HOP feels weird

Hi I just recieved a brick of HOP and the paper feels thicker  then usual.  I wonder if it is just me or what.  The prefix is HOP 9765753-****50.  Am I just imagining it or what?  I know they were thinking of different printers for the $ but did they change the paper?
