Can anyone give me info on the $1 test note that I listed.  

I was curious of the scarcity of the note  and why during this time there was so many experimental/test notes.  

Also I was checking previous years charltons and the price has not gone up very much in comparison to other notes.

DC-25m is not a test/experimental issue. They are simply the last McCavour-Saunders notes printed.

Please see pg 190 of the catalogue - this subject is discussed quite fully there.  I wish we knew as much about the G/R and E/R test notes.
