...and apparently not a centennial note.
I struck up a conversation with the liquor store lady the other day. She said about 25 years ago she received as change and number of 1 dollar bills. She claimed one of them did not have any serial numbers. Before I could ask the obvious question, she added, that it wasn't a centennial note.
She still has the note in a safety deposit box. I don't imagine it's in pristine condition.
I haven't seen it yet. How common is this type of error?
