GAS BAR ISSUE !!

 I have a 3 cent gas bar note that has BLACK squares on the corners, instead of the white ones i see on all gas bars. Also the serial number is in the middle of the bill, not the top!  The serial number is .... Y 97961   Anybody have any further info!? I think it is still the 62' version, it was the first year of the gas bar and the 3 cent version!     Thanx   CT

ctmoneyfreak, your note is a CTC 3-C note. The serial number should be black. This note is part of the Corporation issues that Canadian Tire printed at their Sheppard street distribution center. These notes were printed on regular bond paper and had a very short life span. There are also some 3¢ notes with red serial numbers.
