I was just repacking some bundles to bring back to the bank Tuesday and noticed a bill with some type of issue on the metallic strip. Funny thing is when I go through bricks I never bother looking at the front only at the serial numbers on the back. Unless I get an insert and need the FP #.
This is the only one in the 2 bricks because I checked them all out and nothing sticking to the back of the next bill.  Any ideas. Is the strip always a one step process when it is placed on the note?

Is the bundle in UNC condition (and you were the first ones to touch them)?

Yesterday I washed part of a security stripe off of a Journey $20 by scrubbing hard with some paper towels and water in dishwasher detergent.

The note was in a banded shrinkwrapped brick. Yes I was the only one that handled it

I think laundering money is against the law. You should not advertise what you are doing   ;D
